Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Journal of Physical Education& Health
Social Perspective

is a scientific periodical published by the universities: Technical University in Opole (Poland) and University of Balearic Islands (Spain) which discusses following problems:

  • health of children, adolescents and adults,
  • physical activity of children, adolescents and adults,
  • attitudes towards health presented by children, adolescents and adults,
  • knowledge about health presented by children, adolescents and adults,
  • initiatives, programs to improve health,
  • physical and health education in school curricula and public services,
  • training teachers of different specialties,
  • developing professional skills by teachers and
  • training and employing teachers.

 

Journal of Physical Education& Health is an international peer reviewed journal publishes papers only in English: original papers and review articles.

Layout of the materials submitted to publish:

1 page –

  • title,
  • names and surnames of authors,
  • name and address of the institution repre-sented by authors,
  • post address,
    telephone number, e-mail

2. page (and following pages):

  • title,
  • abstract (15-20 lines),
  • keywords (max 5),
  • text

Materials submitted for publication (text – type 12 point, 1,5 of line, tables and figures (black-white) with numeric data describing figures) should be sent only as a Word document.

Layout only for the original paper – abstract, introduction, objective, materials and methods, results, discussion, summary and references

Layout only for the review articles – introduction and objective, description of the state of knowledge, summary and references

 

Reference style

All references should be numbered consecutively in the order of their first citation.

References to literature in the text – in the form of subsequent numbers [1] in the case of two publications, e.g. [2, 3] and more than two, e.g. [4-7].

List of bibliographies not alphabetically – but according to numbering.

The editorial office reserves the right to shorten papers, correcting linguistic mistakes and making any other editorial corrections.

Authors do not receive any royalties for publishing their articles. Publication in the Journal of Physical Education & Health is free.
